ES2486dc Enterprise ZFS NAS is a QNAP enterprise level High Availability NAS that utilizes full flash storage and dual control architecture, powered by Intel ® The Xeon ® D-2142IT eight core 16 thread processor can install 24 2.5-inch SAS 12Gb/s SSDs, which not only have I/O processing capability and transmission bandwidth, but also are equipped with the QES 2.1.1 operating system optimized for All Flash, optimizing the random write performance of Flash. QES adopts a ZFS file system that combines logical disk management functions, supporting block level real-time data deduplication and real-time data compression functions, which can effectively reduce the number of data writes and SSD usage space, help improve SSD lifespan, and make full flash storage architecture more cost-effective; It also supports almost unlimited data protection capabilities for snapshots and remote snapshot synchronization (SnapSync), fully meeting the needs of high availability file servers, virtual servers, desktop virtualization, medium-sized databases, as well as backup and remote backup for enterprises.
